CI Games have revealed a brand new logo for their upcoming souls-like title Lords of the Fallen 2. The devs also confirmed the sequel will be their biggest game yet and it should be coming sometime next year.

CI Games attempted to go open world with Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 but after that plan backfired, they announced a new game set in Siberia which turned out to be Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts. It will release on 22 November 2019 worldwide.

New Sniper Ghost Warrior game gets E3 teaser

Developer and publisher CI Games officially announced new Sniper Ghost Warrior game called Contracts. Judging by the trailer, the game will have a futuristic feel and it's set in Siberia. The first gameplay footage will be shown at E3 2019.

Lords of the Fallen 2 developer leave project

CI Games, one of the co-developers of Lords of the Fallen have terminated the contract with New York-based Defiant Studios, who were brought in to help with the project. The two studios had a disagreement over the quality of their work.

Lords of the Fallen series has a new developer, Defiant, who are going to develop the sequel for the first game. The new developers have decided to throw the pre-production progress from Deck 13 away and start from scratch on their own.

Dark Souls clone, Lords of the Fallen, originally received mixed reviews and there was a question mark above a possible sequel for a while. It eventually happened, but CI Games decided to enlist the aid of Defiant Studios for the project.

CI Games announces layoffs

CI Games has recently announced layoffs despite the fact the studio has had a profitable 2017. The company is re-establishing its own development efforts with a team of just 30 people. Their latest title, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, has sold more than one million copies since it launched in April 2017.
