During the exploration of the basement of the Fremont House, Max will find herself in a big problem as the house is set to be demolished. In order to save herself, and her student Loretta who is stuck with her there, she needs to cut the explosives. Here is how.

While looking for clues about Abraxas, a secret society on the campus, Max ventures to Fremont house, which is abandoned and scheduled to be demolished. She soon discovers that she isn't alone there, as her student with a podcast, Loretta, is also looking for clues and examining the place.

Soon enough she hears men outside, talking about demolishing the house before schedule. Max manages to lock the door to keep them out, however now she needs to find a way to stop the detonation that they will set off, as they assume no one is there.

In order to do that, Max needs to follow the yellow wires on the ceiling, which are connecting the detonation boxes. First, go to the left and find a shelf with pliers that Max can use to cut the wires of the detonation units.

Right next to the door, there is one detonation box that Max can cut, right behind a yellow curtain.

The first detonation box is right next to the door, behind a curtain.

After getting that one, go to the other side, where there are two boxes, one next to a metal shelf, and one on the wall opposite of that one. It is very important to do the one next to the shelf the last, as after cutting the wires the shelf will fall down and block the box on the opposite wall.

The box next to the shelf needs to be disabled the last, as it will fall and block off a different block.

After disabling the box on the opposite wall and then getting the explosion box next to the shelf, the shelf will collapse. Since you've gotten the other box, this isn't an issue now as Max can just run around the other side and find the last explosion box, disable it and stop the demolition of the Fremont house, allowing her and Loretta to escape. If you need more time, you can always use the rewind ability to start over.

The last explosion box that Max needs to cut is easily spotted.
