Unlocking the fast travel feature requires your initial visit to a larger city named Seedhollow, an occurrence only possible when you complete the fifth chapter in the game. Despite your progression through earlier levels, all of them are interconnected with the initial major city, Folca. Keep in mind that fast travel is restricted to cities equipped with ports.
