EventLab events error is pretty common in Forza Horizon 5. If you play the game on PC, here's a potential solution to this annoying bug.

One of the issues that you can encounter frequently in PlayGround Games' racer Forza Horizon 5 is the "Error retrieving EventLab events" bug, which appears on the Festival Playlist across all platforms.

There is no official fix for this one but players on Forza forums have managed to fix the issue by deleting some files from Forza Horizon 5 folders. This fix works only on PC but if you're encountering this bug on Xbox consoles, read on below for a couple of potential fixes.

Here is how to fix "Error retrieving EventLab events" bug in Forza Horizon 5

  • Go to C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Temp\Turn10Temp.scratch
  • Delete "SeasonalEventLabCacheXX.bin" files
  • After you delete the files, the folder should look like this:

CanisCang Your folder should only include SeasonalEventLabCache files Your folder should only include SeasonalEventLabCache files

So there you have it. It's as simple as that. You should no longer receive the error message but if the issue re-appears again, simply repeat the process and you should be fine.

Keep in mind that PlayGround Games are yet to officially acknowledge or fix this issue, which suggests the bug probably won't go away anytime soon so this fix is your best bet for now.

If you play Forza on Xbox consoles, some players reported that signing out and then signing in to your Xbox profile can solve the issue. Another potential fix is doing a full reset of the console.
