Epic Games is known for adding exclusive events to Fortnite to celebrate different yearly events such as Christmas and Halloween. Since the game's launch in 2017, Epic has introduced countless events including Fortnitemares to celebrate Halloween.
After introducing Fortnitemares, it became an instant hit, with the community marking its return for every following year. Just like that, Fortnitemares has made its grand return in 2024 with a new set of quests and rewards. Here's a look at all Fortnitemares quests and rewards in Fortnite.
All Fortnitemares Quests and Rewards in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4
The first quests available for players to complete are the Fortnitemares XP quests. By completing each quest in Fortnitemares, you will get 20,000 XP.
Fortnitemares XP Quests
- Stage 1 of 11: Earn XP (80,000)
- Stage 2 of 11: Earn XP (160,000)
- Stage 3 of 11: Earn XP (240,000)
- Stage 4 of 11: Earn XP (320,000)
- Stage 5 of 11: Earn XP (400,000)
- Stage 6 of 11: Earn XP (480,000)
- Stage 7 of 11: Earn XP (560,000)
- Stage 8 of 11: Earn XP (640,000)
- Stage 9 of 11: Earn XP (720,000)
- Stage 10 of 11: Earn XP (800,000)
- Stage 11 of 11: Earn XP (880,000)
As for the actual quests, players can complete the Nitemare quests, which are going to be released periodically until Halloween. Here are all Nitemare quests in Fortnite:
- Nitemare One
- Visit Freaky Fields and The Underworld
- Find and defeat Billy
- Deal 150 damage to opponents with Boom Billy
- Travel 500 metres in the air using the Witch Broom
- Collect 20 items
- Deal 1,500 damage to opponents with a Chainsaw
- Nitemare Two
- Travel 250 metres with the Underworld Dash
- Destroy 5 Toilets
- Hit 3 airborne players
- Visit 3 locations with Ultima Carver overgrowth
- Eliminate 20 players
- Survive 10 Storm Circles
- Nitemare Three
- Visit Restored Reels
- Defeat Ultima Carver
- Make a deal with Mephisto
- Finish anything but first in 4 different matches
- Be within 30 meters of an enemy player
- Search 20 containers
- Nitemare Four
- Blow up a fuel pump
- Drive a vehicle until the fuel tank is empty
- Deal 500 damage to opponents with a Wood Stake Shotgun or Pumpkin Launcher
- Talk to Andy Fangerson, Knightmare, and Dark Ruby
- Travel 1,000m distance on the Ghost Train
- Outlast 150 players
- Nitemare Five
- Eliminate 5 players before the first Storm Circle starts closing
- Honk a vehicle at night
- Hit 10 headshots
- Visit 4 different snowy Named Locations or Landmarks
- Deal 500 damage to opponents with Assault Rifles
- Travel 1,000m distance with the Chainsaw Rush Attack
- Nitemare Six
- Hit an opponent with a Chainsaw Jump Attack
- Deal 250 damage to opponents from one story or above
- Travel 100m distance on Grind Vines
- Slash 2 vehicle tires
- Destroy 50 objects with explosives or a Chainsaw
- Thank the haunted Bus Driver 5 times
Horde Rush also makes it return with the Fortnnitemares update. The Horde Rush is the only PVE limited time mode in Fortnite. Here are all quests in Horde Rush:
- Decimate The Horde
- Deal 40,000 damage to Cube Monster Fiends
- Collect Score Multipliers
After completing all challenges, you will earn XP and complete the Fortnitemares XP quests. Each stage of the XP quests unlocks the following rewards:
- Complete Stage 1 XP Quest: The Fangler Bass
- Complete Stage 2 XP Quest: Carver’s Helm Emoticon
- Complete Stage 3 XP Quest: Horde’s War Wheel Back Bling
- Complete Stage 4 XP Quest: Thrills & Chills Loading Screen
- Complete Stage 5 XP Quest: Nightmare’s Choice Jam Track
- Complete Stage 6 XP Quest: Knight of the Patch Banner Icon
- Complete Stage 7 XP Quest: Jack-o’-Drifter Contrail
- Complete Stage 8 XP Quest: Fiendish Wand Pickaxe
- Complete Stage 9 XP Quest: Cauldron Chill Emote
- Complete Stage 10 XP Quest: Night of the Nitemares Loading Screen
- Complete Stage 11 XP Quest: The Great Scarecrow Glider
All Fortnitemares quests and rewards will remain available in the game until November 2, 2023, 2 AM ET. These rewards are exclusively tied to the Fortnitemares 2024 event.
