As you progress through the levels in ARC Raiders, you slowly unlock features like the Trials, which are in-game point-based weekly challenges that are refreshed every week. By earning three stars and points in these challenges, you can climb through the ranks to earn exclusive rewards.
Each week Embark adds a new set of challenges for players to complete and climb up their leaderboards. The Season 6 Week 2 trials are live now, and here's a comprehensive guide on how to earn 3 stars in this week's trials.
What are Trials in ARC Raiders?
Trials is the unofficial rank system in ARC Raiders, which is unlocked at player level 15. Once unlocked, players have to earn points by completing challenges every week and climb up the leaderboards. By earning stars, players can earn exclusive rewards.
The challenges are usually divided into three stages, which are marked by stars. By earning points you can get stars, and each challenge has a limit of 3 stars. For each star, players get a reward, with a total of three rewards for completing a challenge.
By earning points you can earn a position in the leaderboard of 100 players in the same rank. Getting into the top 20 of the leaderboard will earn you a 2x promotion to the next ranks. With 1x promotion allocated for the next 30 positions. The bottom 20 players of the leaderboard are demoted to the previous rank.
How to Get 3 Stars in Season 6 Week 2 Trials in ARC Raiders
Like every week, this week's trials have five challenges players must complete to climb up the leaderboard. These challenges are quite easy, but you have to follow some simple strategies to effectively finish them without wasting your important resources. Here's an in-depth guide on how to get 3 stars in Season 6 Week 2 trials in ARC Raiders:
Open Containers in the Commissary Supermarket
This is a very straightforward trial for this week. Just head to the Commissary Supermarket in Pendola Pass and loot every container in that POI to get three stars in no time. Make sure to loot every single searchable container and locker in that area to get the highest points possible.
Harvest plants
This is probably the hardest challenge to complete this week if you are not used to farming Great Mullein. The first method to complete this challenge is by playing on Buried City and running around the outskirts to harvest Mullein. However, if you are looking to get a high score in this challenge, you have to play Spaceport and follow this specific route:
Damage Bullies
This is a very fun trial to complete, as the PvE toggle is live in ARC Raiders. Hop into a PvE playlist solo or with your friends kitted with hullcrackers and other legendary weapons and just go haywire on the Bullies. You'll find Bullies roaming around Railyard, Commissary Supermarket, and Almatera Station.
Deal Damage using Skulker Targeter
To complete this trial, take out Skulkers on the new map. Then loot the turret part found in their tail. Deploy three turrets at once, then lure in a hornet or wasp. The turrets will damage the flying ARCs automatically. Be aware, though, as the turrets can also target you if you stand in their line of sight.
Damage ARC using a Bantam
This trial is quite straightforward; however, it will be a little challenging for most players. The Bantam is the newest weapon of the game, which replaces Anvil in the same category. Just take a Bantam to any mode and use it to damage ARCs. A word of caution though, the Bantam has bullet drop off, so make sure to lead your shots to where you want them to hit.
Getting 3 stars with decent points in trials will guarantee you a spot in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Remaining in the top 20 will also allow you to jump 2 ranks once the trials are refreshed for next week.
