ARC Raiders Frozen Trail update is the most awaited update players have been waiting for the past few months. Since Embark's announcement of two major updates every six months, players have been stuck with the same content that was there since launch.
The Frozen Trail update is finally out across all platforms worldwide. This update features reworks to the trial system and skill tree. Moreover, it introduces new ARCs, weapons, items, gadgets, and a brand-new big map, Pendola Pass.
Alongside the new content, Embark also introduces a new research station in the workshop which enables the ability to upgrade and research new items. To level-up the research station, you'll need Calculators and here's how you can get them.
How to Find Calculators in ARC Raiders
Calculators are an important requirement for completing the level-up requirements for the new research station. While the drop pattern of loot is random in ARC Raiders, there are certain places that can drop certain items, like Calculators.
If you're looking for Calculators, then try venturing or looking into technological and electrical POIs of the new Pendola Pass map in ARC Raiders. Here are the best locations to look for Calculators:
- Railyard
- Railroad Junction
- Cielo Sereno Observatory
- Storm Huts
In my playthroughs, the best spawn locations for the Calculators have been in Railyard and the Storm Huts that activate after Flash Freeze starts. Aside from these locations, you can also find Calculators randomly in most POIs of the map.
Aside from looting Calculators, you can also find Calculators by recycling the Advanced Camera and Thermal Shake. Advanced Camera can be bought from the trader, and Thermal Shakes are usually available in Exodus marked areas.
