Open IV is shutting down

Due to the cease and desist letter Open IV received from Take-Two Interactive on 05 June, the modding tool will no longer be available. The announcement by Open IV said that they decided not to go to court because "spending time just to restore status quo is really unproductive".

Boxed sales: Injustice 2 claims the top spot

Injustice 2 took the number one spot in last week's boxed sales chart. It's the first fighting game to do so in the last two years. Farpoint VR also made history as the highest ranking VR game since PlayStation VR Worlds.

Prey - reviews matter

After the reviews for Bethesda's Prey came out last week, the game has seen an increase in sales, landing it at the top of last week's UK sales chart. The rest of the top ten looks very familiar with no new releases.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe finished last week at the top of the physical sales chart in the UK. Prey, which came out on 05 May, debuted at the second spot on the list.

Sales charts for the last week are in and Ghost Reckon. Wildlands took the top spot once more. The top three also includes GTA V and FIFA 17.

Persona 5 is the most successful JRPG to launch in the UK since 2013. ME: Andromeda saw a severe drop in sales due to the issues with Denuvo. Overwatch is again among the top ten on the UK game sales chart.
