General manager of Ubisoft Asia Steve Miler said that Assassin's Creed: Odyssey has a good chance to become the best the most popular Assassin's Creed title ever in Japan, which he attributed to the game's newly implemented RPG elements.

Ubisoft have rolled out a new trailer for the next instalment in the Assassin's Creed franchise and the video focuses on in-game choices that players will have to make once they dig into Kassandra and Alexios' Creed in October 2018.

Ubisoft have rolled out two Asssassin's Creed Odyssey trailers, one for each of the game's protagonists and although Kassandra's and Alexios' trailers are identical for the most part, they do seem to hint at slight in-game differences.

According to Ubisoft, there will be no new Assassin's Creed in 2019 because they will focus on supporting Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, in the same manner they intended to skip a year for supporting Assassin's Creed: Origins, and then didn't.
