CD Project Red have been doing a pretty good job in keeping Cyberpunk 2077 development under tightly controlled wraps, but a Slovakian website ProGamingShop has posted a listing that suggests we'll see the game on the shelves in 2019.

According to the website, they're expecting Cyberpunk 2077 to be in stock on 28 November 2019, while the rest of the text is reserved for discounts and the game's description.

Of course, it's wise to take this with a grain of salt, because it might just as easily be a placeholder date. Those tend to do pretty well when it comes to generating more hype or gauging the excitement.

That being said, Turkish publisher Bilcom, who have worked with CDPR and will be handling Cyberpunk 2077's distribution there, provided a similar timing back in October 2018.

At the time, Bilcom posted a tweet assuring users that they will get to play Cyberpunk 2077 in 2019, although it was quickly deleted afterwards.

Creator of Cyberpunk 2020 Mike Pondsmith, on the other hand, claimed that even though the basics are done, which he likened to making a game himself in his broom closet, it will take a lot of work to turn it into a finished article. He suggested 2020 as the launch date.

When it comes to more immediate future, CDPR have announced their going down this year, and since they've already confirmed , hopes are running high.

When it comes to excitement, not many games can rival Cyberpunk 2077, whose 48-minute long gameplay presentation from E3 left many a jaw .

Ironically, we recently found out that CDPR were absolutely during that time, not knowing what players might think about the Witcher dev's new IP.

One of the things that don't quite fit into all this is Cyberpunk 2077's performance because the game's E3 demo 30 FPS on an i7 8700K CPU, 32 GB DDR4 RAM and GTX 1080Ti.

With such performance, getting Cyberpunk 2077 to work on current gen consoles looks like it would require an optimisation miracle. Well, either that or a downgrade.
