Rockstar have added a new mode to Showdown series in the latest update named Spoils of War. In the new mode, two groups of 16 players compete to defend their stockpile while raiding the enemies'. The update also adds new rare clothing.

Rockstar are continuing their support for Red Dead Online beta with the new update that is now live on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The biggest addition in the latest update is Spoils of War game mode which is introduced to Red Dead Online's PvP Showdown Series. Spoils of War is described as "a frontier take on capture-style multiplayer" where two groups of 16 players must steal loot from their opponent's base and return it to theirs, while defending their own stash.

Once the match time expires, the team with the most steals gets the win. Players will get to try the new Showdown mode across two locations - Fort Mercer and Valentine.

Showdown mode is known as a great way to quickly complete combat-based Daily Challenges and farm XP and money. During the week, Rockstar will also reward all players who take part in Showdown modes with additional bonuses.

These include 20 per cent XP boost on all modes, and those who win in Spoils of War will earn an extra bonus of eight Dynamite Arrows that can be claimed from the Post Office or your Camp Lockbox.

New updates to Wheeler, Rawson & Co Catalogue are also introduced. Players will get to choose from a pair of new outfits as well as a few other garments and accessories.

You can see The Tasman Outfit below, and this one is for males only, while The Danube Outfit is for female characters.

From now on, the Catalogue will be updated regularly with new items. Inbound items will be marked with coming soon flair for easier tracking. If some of the items are out of stock, they will be reintroduced again in future weeks.
