Rockstar Games have released the first trailer for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. It's the first look at the game in 4K and 60 frames per second and it's safe to say that it looks absolutely stunning.
Red Dead Redemption 2 hype train is at full speed once again thanks to the recent announcement from Rockstar Games, who officially confirmed the PC version of the game, along with the release date. Today, the developer decided to give us a first look at the game with a brand new trailer, which showcases some of the locations from the game in stunning 4K resolution and 60 frames per second.
The trailer looks absolutely gorgeous and you can notice the greater graphical fidelity at almost every corner. There's a lot more foliage, the lighting looks even better and everything is crispy clear thanks to high resolution.
Judging by the trailer, one of the biggest differences from the console version will be the increased draw distance, which is quite noticeable in the trailer. Of course, there are a lot more PC enhancements such as improved shadows and lighting and new grass and fur textures. On top of this, Rockstar also added a host of exciting new content for the game's Story Mode including new missions, bounty hunts and more.
If it wasn't obvious by now, the trailer officially confirms that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have unlocked frame rate so your graphics card can push it to the limit. Looking at how beautiful the game looks, it's interesting that Rockstar Games listed mid-range graphics cards under recommended specs for Red Dead Redemption 2.
Hopefully, this means great optimisation so even those with low-end machines will get to experience one of the best games from Rockstar's catalogue.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC version is officially hitting the shelves on 05 November 2019 on Rockstar Games Launcher and Epic Games Store, while the Steam version is coming in December 2019.
Rockstar is also offering two free games if you decide to pre-order Red Dead Redemption 2 by 22 October 2019.
