Model numbers for both Digital and Standard Edition of PlayStation 5 have leaked via Hong Kong distributor. On top of this, we also got a list of everything that comes inside the box.
As we wait for Sony to finally reveal the price and pre-order info for their next-gen console PlayStation 5, new leaks and rumours are surfacing almost daily. Today, we have another big leak, which gives us a couple of interesting new details about the console.
Thanks to an early listing by Hong Kong distributor, we have model numbers for both Digital and Standard Edition of PlayStation 5 as well as the full list of box content. The Standard Edition console is listed under CFI-1015A model number while the Digital Edition has CFI-1015B model number.
As for the box contents, you can check out the full list below:
- PlayStation 5 console
- Wireless controller
- 825GB SSD
- Base
- HDMI cable
- AC power cord
- Instruction manual
- Astro's Playroom - Pre-installed game
As you can see, some pretty expected- stuff and nothing out of the ordinary. This listing could suggest that Sony are finally ready to open the pre-orders for the console but of course, at the moment, this is just a guess and until we get an official confirmation of another PS5 event, take everything you read about pricing with a grain of salt.
