Xbox and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park are teaming up in celebration of the worldwide launch of Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The two have organised a special live-stream event that will let the community pick the name of one of the Safari Park’s owls.
Xbox and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park are teaming up in celebration of the worldwide launch of Ori and the Will of the Wisps. The sequel to the beautiful platformer will launch for Xbox One and PC on 11 March 2020.
The special live-stream event that will let the community help pick the name of one of the Safari Park’s soon-to-hatch, burrowing owls will be available on 10 March 2020 at 8:00 p.m. GMT on Mixer . The stream will go on for two hours and will be broadcast from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in California.
The upcoming Ori and the Will of the Wisps title will see Ori greet Ku, a young owl born into Ori’s adoptive family, and the fans can help name the San Diego Zoo Safari Park’s next owlet during the live show. After that, the fans will be able to watch the little one hatch via the exclusive Mixer Burrowing Owl Cam pop-up channel.

The live show itself will feature special guests including the Mixer star Ewok as she plays the Ori and the Will of the Wisps live inside the Park. The show will also feature Wildlife Care Specialist talks, gameplay, giveaways and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park’s very own burrowing owls with their soon-to-hatch egg.
The fans will be able to engage with the live-stream through exclusive stickers, follow emotes and SFX buttons based on the new Ori soundtrack and real-life burrowing owl sounds.
