NBA 2K22 will be available for pre-load on September 8, 2021, on PlayStation 5. The game's file size is over 93 GB without the day-one patch.
NBA 2K22, the annual release of 2K Games' basketball simulation is officially launching next month and today, we have first details about the game's download size and pre-load.
According to a reliable PlayStation leaks Twitter page "PlayStation Game Size", NBA 2K22 pre-load will start on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players. As for the download size, the leak reveals that the game will be over 93 GB, presumably much closer to the 100 GB mark since the day-one patch size is not included in this listing.

2K Games are yet to officially confirm these details but we doubt their info will be much different from this. Pre-loads are usually live two days before the official release on PlayStation consoles while the download size is close to NBA 2K21, the last year's release.
