The latest NBA 2K21 patch is here for both current and next-gen systems, and it brings a whole lot to the game, like new music, new player likeness update, new gameplay tweaks and fixes, etc.
A new update has rolled out earlier today for the next-gen version of NBA 2K21. The 'Next-gen patch update 4' brings new music to 2K beats soundtrack, it updates uniforms for Los Angeles Lakers (Home uniform) and NY Knicks (City uniform) and updates the likeness for a whole bunch of current NBA players, including:

The patch also reduced the effectiveness of fading three-pointers off-the-dribble, which was a well-requested tweak by the 2K community.
MyCareer/The City got many improvements, for example, the Pro-Am League Nights now supports private matchmaking, improved load times of menus when loading into The City, etc.
