The publisher EA have officially confirmed there is no one machine installation limit for FIFA 22 on PC via Steam. In an official statement from EA spokesperson, it's been clarified that this was listed incorrectly.
Yesterday we reported that FIFA 22 on Steam has an odd notice which states that the game can be installed on only one machine. FIFA fans on Reddit and social media were, as expected, disappointed and livid to find out that the publisher EA would limit the PC version of the game in such a way but luckily, this was a simple mistake that has been removed from Steam in the meantime.
Furthermore, we have contacted EA PR for clarification on the matter and got a response that there is no one machine installation limit for FIFA 22 on PC. Here is the official statement in full:
"We can confirm there is not a one machine limit for FIFA 22 on PC via Steam. This was listed incorrectly and the limitation has now been removed. We apologise for the confusion and thank our community for noticing the error."
This will come as a relief to many PC players who enjoy FIFA on multiple devices. We at AltChar also love to use our Steam on several machines and play FIFA from time to time and the decision to lock the game to one PC would certainly be disappointing but luckily that won't be happening with FIFA 22.
