Fan-favourite character from the first Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, Damsel, is returning in Bloodlines 2, looking and sounding pretty much the same, up to the same anarchic ways as before.
Vampire the Masquerade was filled to the brim with memorable characters, be it important ones like Jeanette/Therese or minor characters like Therese's morbid ghoul Vandal Cleaver - they all left a mark on the players.
It is no different with Damsel, who interacts with the player's character only briefly, during the visits to the Last Round bar that Anarchs frequent. She was not as high profile as Nines Rodriguez but her demeanour, utter hatred for anything authoritative or, dare we say posh, made her an unforgettable in the lineup of well-crafted characters in the World of Darkness.
In case you are wondering what she is doing in Seattle, it appears that she kept organising Anarch resistance against the Camarilla in Los Angeles during 2000s but then moved to Seattle afterwards. As you might imagine, she didn't change much. She is still on a mission for the Anarch Free State and being a thorn in the side of those in seats of power.
The trailer that showcases the Brujah makes it pretty clear she has not lost any edge, especially with the tongue, as her idea of a friendly greeting seems to be threatening the player with turning their head into a war crime.
It remains to be seen if she will have a bigger role or just be a fan-service cameo. If the latter happens to be the case, we would seriously love seeing more of the Kindred that we fondly remember from the first game.
