Call of Duty is abuzz with all the new additions and Call of Duty Mobile is certainly not lagging behind, as Activision launched Season 13 of the mobile shoooter.
So, Season 13: Winter War brings two snow-covered multiplayer maps, both of them among the firm Call of Duty fan favourites. We're talking about Nuketown Russia and Holiday Raid, both of which have been spruced up with some snowy goodness.
First seen in Black Ops 4, Nuketown Russia sees the classic map move to a nuclear testing site in snowy Chernobyl, while Holiday Raid brings the holiday spirit to your favourite luxurious getaway.
With Season 13: Winter War, Call of Duty Mobile is getting a new multiplayer mode, one that debuted in Modern Warfare - Grind. The mode combines the rules of Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint, marrying them into the finest tactical chaos there is.
"Confirm kills by picking up dog tags from fallen players and transport them to set locations around the map. Get taken out along the way and you’ll drop all of your collected tags, so keep your head on a swivel as you race to bank your points", Activision wrote.
As usual, there's a bunch of rewards to be earned for paying and freeloading members, the latter getting EMP Systems Scorestreak and Peacekeeper MK2 at Tier 14 and 21, respectively.
Call of Duty Mobile's Premium Pass holders get to expand their operator roster with some familiar CIA operatives, including Golem - Siberia.
Season 13's main event is On the Brink, where players get to activate and deploy sleeper agents to infiltrate city centres. Call of Duty Mobile will also get a bunch of rewards, including a new Mythic Weapon that uses the Peacekeeper MK2 as a base, but one made of meteorite comprised of ice and magma.
