Free access to Black Ops Cold War's multiplayer starts today, December 17, at 10AM PT, and it's free for all to try out frenzy CoD action until Thursday, December 24.
Holidays are just around the corner and Activision are feeling festive. If you wanted to try out Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, now's your chance. The free access week starts today, December 17 at 10am PT, and runs through Thursday, December 24 at 10am PT. That is a full week of Call of Duty frenzied online action at your disposal.
Free access will come in two stages.
Stage 1 starts on Thursday, December 17, and ends on Monday, December 21, and includes a combination of modes new to Season One or already available since the launch of Black Ops Cold War.
Modes available:
- 2v2 Gunfight
- Team Deathmatch
- Featured Playlist: Nuketown Holiday 24/7
- Featured Playlist: Raid the Mall
- Domination
Stage 2 starts on Monday, December 21, and it picks right up where you left off. All of the modes from the previous stage will remain available, and you’ll also get the following:
- Prop Hunt
- Combined Arms: Hardpoint
- Fireteam: Dirty Bomb
Double XP, Double Weapon XP, and Double Battle Pass Progression
Double XP weekend will be live from Friday, December 18 to Monday, December 21, for all players (whether you’re in the free access or not) and it will provide double XP and double weapons bonuses across the available Multiplayer modes, with PlayStation users having access to a bonus 24-hour double XP window to progress their Season 1 player level, starting a day earlier, on December 17.
