Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 introduces a new Greek mythology storyline alongside characters like Zeus, Hades, Ares, Artemis and Cerebrus.
Following previous seasons, players are also receiving a new Greek mythology story questline called the Oracle's Snapshot. The questline takes players through every new in-game addition of the current season. If you're getting started with the new season, here's a complete guide to the Oracle's Snapshot Questline.
Oracle's Snapshot Story Quests
There are 14 stages in the Oracle's Snapshot Questline which have been added as a part of the new Greek Myhology storline of Chapter 5 Season 2. By completing these questes players are awarded with in-game XP which unlockes battlepass stars with each level up milestone.
Here are all Oracle's Snapshot Quests and how to complete them:
- Stage-1:Use a Scrying Pool to speak with The Oracle - 10,000 XP
- There are four Scrying Pools -
- Scrying Pool 1 - Located at Mount Olympus to the right of Zeus' Throne Room.
- Scrying Pool 2 - Located North of the Water Bed at Reclaimed Villa.
- Scrying Pool 3 - Located on the hill just South of Estate Station.
- Scrying Pool 4 - Located at the far West of The Underworld.
- There are four Scrying Pools -
- Stage-2: Overcome The Test of Agility at Restored Reels - 10,000 XP
- Players must travel through eight golden hoops in 60 seconds at Restored Reels.
- Stage-3: Overcome The Test of Strength at Lavish Lair or Fencing Fields - 10,000 XP
- Players must destroy 15 structures within 60 seconds.
- Stage-4: Overcome The Test of Wisdom at a Scrying Pool - 10,000 XP
- Answer the "Which food is most appealing to the Gods?" question asked by the Oracle. The answer to the question is Bananas.
- Stage-5: Send Hades a Message by Eliminating 10 Opponents - 10,000 XP
- Eliminate 10 hostile NPCs near Altars, Forecast Towers, or Vaults
- Stage-6: Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Hades - 10,000 XP
- Speak with Hades by interacting with any four of the Scrying Pools.
- Stage-7: Collect a Gatekeeper Shotgun, then visit Grim Gate - 10,000 XP
- The Gatekeeper Shotgun is available as ground loot. Moreover, the NPCs Meowsceles and Julie offer the Shotgun at the price of Gold bars.
- Stage-8: Damage Cerberus to assert your dominance (Deal 150 Damage) - 10,000 XP
- Defeat the Wolves at the Altar of Grim Gates, and then Cerebrus will show up. Deal 150 damage using any weapon to Cerebrus and the challenge will be complete.
- Stage-9: Defeat a character in a duel or eliminate a God - 10,000 XP
- Players can defeat any NPC in a duel to complete this quest. Aside from that, they can also defeat the bosses at Brawler's Battleground, Mount Olympus, The Underworld, and Grim Gate.
- Stage-10: Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Ares - 10,000 XP
- Speak with Ares by interacting with any four of the Scrying Pools.
- Stage-11: Collect a Warforged Assault Rifle, then visit Pantheon Path - 10,000 XP
- The Warforged Assault Rifle is available as ground loot. Moreover, the NPCs Bravo Leader, Poseidon and Spartan Assassin offer the Assault Rifle at the price of Gold bars.
- Stage-12: Damage Ares to bring war to the Gods (Deal 150 Damage) - 10,000 XP
- Challenge Ares at Brawler's Battleground and deal 150 Damage using any weapon in the game.
- Stage-13: Assist in collecting an Aspect of the Gods - 10,000 XP
- Defeat and capture a Medallion from any Olympian God in the map.
- Stage-14: Use a Scrying Pool to speak with The Oracle - 10,000 XP
- Speak with the Oracle by interacting with any four of the Scrying Pools to finish the Snapshot Quest line.
By completing each stage of the Oracle's Snapshot quest players can earn battlepass stars which can help them unlock different rewards from the current battlepass.
