ARC Raiders is a newly released extraction shooter from Embark Studios. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
As you progress through the levels in ARC Raiders, you slowly unlock features like the Trials, which are in-game point-based weekly challenges that are refreshed every week. By earning three stars and points in these challenges, you can climb through the ranks to earn exclusive rewards.
Each week Embark adds a new set of challenges for players to complete and climb up their leaderboards. The Season 2 Week 7 trials are live now, and here's a comprehensive guide on how to earn 3 stars in this week's trials.
What are Trials in ARC Raiders?
Trials is the unofficial rank system in ARC Raiders, which is unlocked at player level 15. Once unlocked, players have to earn points by completing challenges every week and climb up the leaderboards. By earning stars, players can earn exclusive rewards.
The challenges are usually divided into three stages, which are marked by stars. By earning points you can get stars, and each challenge has a limit of 3 stars. For each star, players get a reward, with a total of three rewards for completing a challenge.
By earning points you can earn a position in the leaderboard of 100 players in the same rank. Getting into the top 20 of the leaderboard will earn you a 2x promotion to the next ranks. With 1x promotion allocated for the next 30 positions. The bottom 20 players of the leaderboard are demoted to the previous rank.
How to Get 3 Stars in Season 2 Week 7 Trials in ARC Raiders
Like every week, this week's trials have five challenges players must complete to climb up the leaderboard. These challenges are quite easy, but you have to follow some simple strategies to effectively finish them without wasting your important resources. Here's an in-depth guide on how to get 3 stars in Season 2 Week 7 trials in ARC Raiders:
Deliver Carriables
This is arguably the most strenuous challenge of this week's trials. To complete this challenge and get 3 stars, you need to deliver around 6-8 crates to a field depot in any map. You can also complete this challenge by carrying batteries to locked doors and puzzles. Make sure to do this in modified map conditions, like a night raid, to get 2x points.
Damage Ground-Based ARC Enemies
This challenge is quite easy if you know what you're doing. If you're at a higher rank right now, then the best way to rack up points in this challenge is by eliminating Bastions, Bombardiers, and Leapers in a single run. On the contrary, if you simply want to get 3 stars in this challenge, taking out a single Bombardier or Bastion will suffice, as you'll only need 4,000 points to do so.
Open ARC Probes
ARC probes are usually rare to see in normal map conditions. To complete this challenge, wait for the Prospecting Probes map condition to go live and then jump in to complete the challenge. You'll need to open around 4 probes to complete this challenge easily. The best mode and map for completing it is electromagnetic storm on Spaceport. During this mode, you'll find crash ARC probes scattered all around the outskirts of the map. If you keep opening them consecutively, you can easily rack upto 10,000 points in this challenge.
Damage Hornets
This challenge is quite straightforward; you just need to damage Hornets in any map of the game. To get 3 stars on this challenge, simply jump into a night raid, electromagnetic storm, or hidden bunker event and then hunt Hornets all around the map.
The fastest way to deal with hornets is by using seeker grenades and hullcrackers if you have the resources or money. You can kill more than 10-15 hornets in a single run with these two things. Make sure to extract in time, or your progress will not count.
Download Information Inside the Hidden Bunker
This challenge is probably one of the most annoying ones of this week. To complete this challenge, jump into the Hidden Bunker game mode, then wait or help other players complete the antennas to open the hidden bunker. Once the bunker is open, you'll see some terminals scattered around. Approach one of them and press download data. Now wait for the data to be downloaded; once the download is complete, retrieve the data to complete this challenge. You'll need to retrieve data from four terminals to get 3 stars in this challenge.
Getting 3 stars with decent points in trials will guarantee you a spot in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Remaining in the top 20 will also allow you to jump 2 ranks once the trials are refreshed for next week.
