Far Cry 5 co-op mode rated as pretty fun, despite lousy PS4 performance

With most Far Cry 5 headlines focusing on the game's story and single player campaigns, it was pretty interesting reading the co-op mode preview. In short, it seems to be at least as fun as the single player campaign, if not even more fun.

Ubisoft's latest financial report

Ubisoft released its sales figures for the third fiscal quarter of 2017-18. The report shows that the sales have surpassed the targeted amount. Ubisoft expects the sales form the fourth quarter to come in at approximately £398.76 million.

Far Cry 5 PC specs and system requirements

With Far Cry 5's release date approaching, Ubisoft shared the game's minimum and recommended requirements. The announcement also came with news about additional features. Far Cry 5 will launch in March.

Far Cry 5 - two player co-op mode - details

Far Cry 5's online co-op mode will be available immediately after the in-game tutorial. Each player will see and collect their own loot. Far Cry 5 will be available on 27 February, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and PC.

Far Cry 5 will feature some original music by Dan Romer. Mr Romer used many Americana instruments to convey the feel of the fictional Hope County, Montana. The soundtrack will be available colse to the game's release.

Ubisoft will bring Assassin's Creed Origins, Far Cry 5, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and South Park: The Fractured but Whole to this year's EGX. The event will kick off on 21 September at The NEC, Birmingham.

Far Cry 5: the return of the map editor

Far Cry 5 will see the return of the map editor, a feature that was absent in the previous Far Cry title. A local co-op mode has been traded in for its online version in the latest game.
