Switch is getting The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Nintendo have announced a long list of games that'll be coming to Switch during the next couple of months. A lot of ports, first and third party games ranging from Super Mario Odyssey to Doom will soon become available for Switch.

Crash Bandicoot set a record this week for most times at No1 in 2017 on the UK retail chart. Agents of Mayhem debuted at number four and City Skylines: PlayStation 4 Edition did better than its Xbox One counterpart, debuting at number 20.

id Software patches DOOM with 4k resolutions

It seems the consoles are getting some love from id Software, as they release 4k resolution patch 2 years after the game's original release. Now players will get to enjoy bashing demons' heads with even more beautiful visuals than before.

Doom VFR now works with Oculus Rift

Bethesda’s Doom VFR initially didn't work with Oculus Rift. One day after the game launched, Valve deployed an update to fix the issue. Doom VFR currently works on the SteamVR Beta branch.

Doom - coming to Switch in November

Doom for Nintendo Switch will come out in November. The game will feature a singleplayer campaign, an Arcade Mode and various multiplayer modes. A new id Software developer video explaining the game's features was released today.

BJ Blazkowicz's presence in Quake Champions is a cross-promotion stunt, no doubt about it. This says a great deal about the way ZeniMax and Bethesda treat the various IPs under their corporate umbrella. Why not add a Vault Tech themed deck to Elder Scrolls Legends while you are at it?
