Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a first-person shooter developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision, arriving just a year after Black Ops 6 in a bold — and divisive — back-to-back release. Set in 2035, the game follows David "Section" Mason and his unit as they investigate the apparent return of long-dead terrorist Raul Menendez, with the trail leading to a powerful tech corporation with murky intentions.

The co-op campaign drew a mixed response and controversy over AI-generated assets, whilst multiplayer and Zombies fared considerably better with the community. It's a game that feels slightly rushed in places, but there's still plenty of content to dig into for series faithful.
