A bundle of generation-defining titles will be available as a part of the PlayStation Plus subscription service to play day-one on the PlayStation 5 console.
Last night, as a part of the PlayStation 5 Showcase (read our recap here ), a new PlayStation Plus benefit for PlayStation 5 was announced, called PlayStation Plus Collection.
It's a decent mix of 1st and 3rd party games, with Kratos leading the gang. If you're coming from the Xbox or the PC platform, with this deal you'll instantly have a great collection of PS4 games available to play on your PS5.
This could be a Sony's answer to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service, and it's a part of a PS Plus subscription, but currently, we do not have the info regarding the pricing.
The games are available to download and play, so it's not a streamable service (like PS Now), and it will be part of the PlayStation 5 launch program, so you'll be able to fill up that 825 gigs of PS5's solid-state drive in no time.
Check out the full list of titles announced, with more games to follow after the release of the PlayStation 5.
- God of War
- The Last of Us: Remastered
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Battlefield 1
- Monster Hunter World
- Fallout 4
- Final Fantasy XV
- The Last Guardian
- Ratchet and Clank
- Infamous: Second Son
- Days Gone
- Bloodborne
- Detroit: Become Human
- Batman Arkham Knight
- Mortal Kombat X
- Persona 5
- Until Dawn
- Resident Evil: Biohazard
This is the first PS Plus feature for the next-gen announced, and probably not the last one. Our only concern is that the price could go up, just like it did for peripherals and games (1st party).
