GTA Online updates usually happen every Thursday at 2:00 AM PT / 5:00 AM PT / 10:00 AM BST / 11:00 AM CET but the last week proved different. The bonuses from July 7, 2022, persisted for another week while Rockstar only added double payouts on Payphone Hit missions. While those are always welcome, they were not enough of an addition to refresh the stale bonuses and discounts.
Unfortunately, July 21, 2022, did not bring any changes either - the bonuses from July 7 and the double Payphone Hit payouts will remain for another five days, until Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
This is when the big summer update will happen in GTA Online, bringing new activities, weapons, vehicles, garage space and more to the game. While that is not much of a consolation at this moment, it will be worth waiting for since the game will become much better overall. At least it looks like it will on paper.
Besides the aforementioned goodies, we are looking at nerfs to griefer bikes and improvements to payouts across the board, which should bring more activities up to speed, instead of Cayo Perico leaving everything else in the dust.
On that note, we will get Cayo Perico races in the next update as well.
