Rockstar has rolled out a hefty event for Grand Theft Auto Online, adding Weeny Issi classic race series and doubling the GTA$ and RP earnings for Weeny Issi and a bunch of other heists, raids and contact missions across San Andreas.
Rockstar says that San Andreas' racing track "has been hijacked by Britain's fiercest export since Hugh Harrison - the Weeny Issi Clasic". You'll be behind the wheel of the miniscule yet delightful star of The Vespucci Job, the car that definitely doesn't look like mini cooper, especially when you close your eyes.
Players will be running against 29 "battle-scarred" drivers across seven newly designed tracks that will put your not-mini cooper through some serious hoops, both figuratively and occasionally quite literally. Tunnels, hoops, what's the difference, right?
GTA Online's Weeny Issi classic races will be paying double the GTA$ and RP and the company also decided to extend the double gain on The Prison Break Heist. The double earnings last until 25 June 2018, so you may want to keep that in mind.
Additionally, GTA Online doubles the GTA$ and RP gain in The Human Labs Raid, The Doomsday Heist Act II's The Bogdan Problem and Lamar Contact Missions. Note that The Bogdan Problem is knocking 40 per cent off of all facilities as well.
The developer threw in a discount of 30 per cent for all land, sea and air vehicles as well as knocking 50 per cent off of hangars and executive offices. Some of GTA Online's gear and accessories are getting a hefty, 50 per cent discount too, which covers bulletproof helmets, heist street, light and heavy combat outfits, parachute bags with country flags and all yacht country flags.
Rockstar Games
Interestingly, after being declared the most lucrative entertainment product ever, GTA V has quickly had to relinquish the title to Blizzard's World of Warcraft. It seems like the company are trying their best to overturn GTA Online's first on-year revenue drop of 9 percent, with many analysts suggesting that 2018 is the beginning of the end for Rockstar's game. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
