Palworld's map is filled with hundreds of Pals. These Pals are divided into three categories- Normal Pals, Alpha Pals and Legendary Pals.
While you can easily capture or defeat Normal Pals, Alpha Pals and Legendary Pals are harder to defeat or capture. The Legendary Pals in Palworld are especially hard to defeat without the correct gear build or Pal party.
If you're in the end-game of Palworld, you'll need to capture Frostallion to defeat or capture Jetragon, the ultimate Pal of Palpagos Island. So, here's a thorough guide on how you can easily defeat or capture Frostallion in Palworld.
How to Defeat or Capture Frostallion
There are 4 Level 50 Legendary Pals in Palpagos Islands. Among them, Frostallion is the second most powerful Pal. The Ice-type Pal is one of the hardest Pals to defeat or capture in Palworld if you're not following the correct strategy.
To capture or defeat Frostallion, you must reach Player Level 48 or above. Moreover, you'll need Pals that have reached their max level cap to damage Frostallion. Let's begin the gear build required to duel Frostallion:
| Gear | Name |
|---|---|
| Head Gear | Pal Metal Helm |
| Armor | Cold Resistant Pal Metal Armor |
| Shield | Hyper Shield |
| Accessories | Attack Pendant |
| Life Pendant | |
| Weapons | Pump-action Shotgun |
| Rocket Launcher | |
| Sword | |
| Homing Sphere Launcher |
The Pal Metal headgear and Cold Resistant Pal Metal armor heavily increase player health and defense capabilities, so you will most likely take less damage from Frostallion's Special Attack. Once equipped, the Attack and Life Pendant further boosts the attack and health stats. Pick up a Homing Sphere Launcher with your weapon loadout to easily catch Frostallion by it from afar.
Moving to your Pal Party, you must create a balance of Fire and Ground type Pals. So, here's the ideal Pal party to fight Frostallion:
- Fire Pals
- Faleris
- Ragnahawk
- Blazamut
- Jormuntide Ignis
- Ground Pals
- Anubis
To defeat Frostallion, you'll need the strongest Fire Pals. We recommend rotating Faleris, Ragnahawk, Blazamut and Jormuntide Ignis during the fight. As soon as they deal incendiary damage, send in your Anubis. A max-level Anubis has excellent close-range attack damage, which will slowly take off chunks of HP from Frostallion.
Do not engage in a close-range fight with Frostallion; it has two special attacks with one-shot potential, which can easily chew through your Pal Metal Armor and Hyper Shield. Also, remember to keep rotating your Pals to maintain their health.
