As you progress through the levels in ARC Raiders, you slowly unlock features like the Trials, which are in-game point-based weekly challenges that are refreshed every week. By earning three stars and points in these challenges, you can climb through the ranks to earn exclusive rewards.
Each week Embark adds a new set of challenges for players to complete and climb up their leaderboards. The Season 4 Week 10 trials are live now, and here's a comprehensive guide on how to earn 3 stars in this week's trials.
What are Trials in ARC Raiders?
Trials is the unofficial rank system in ARC Raiders, which is unlocked at player level 15. Once unlocked, players have to earn points by completing challenges every week and climb up the leaderboards. By earning stars, players can earn exclusive rewards.
The challenges are usually divided into three stages, which are marked by stars. By earning points you can get stars, and each challenge has a limit of 3 stars. For each star, players get a reward, with a total of three rewards for completing a challenge.
By earning points you can earn a position in the leaderboard of 100 players in the same rank. Getting into the top 20 of the leaderboard will earn you a 2x promotion to the next ranks. With 1x promotion allocated for the next 30 positions. The bottom 20 players of the leaderboard are demoted to the previous rank.
How to Get 3 Stars in Season 4 Week 9 Trials in ARC Raiders
Like every week, this week's trials have five challenges players must complete to climb up the leaderboard. These challenges are quite easy, but you have to follow some simple strategies to effectively finish them without wasting your important resources. Here's an in-depth guide on how to get 3 stars in Season 4 Week 10 trials in ARC Raiders:
Damage Hornets
This challenge is quite straightforward; you just need to damage Hornets in any map of the game. To get 3 stars on this challenge, simply jump into a night raid, electromagnetic storm, or hidden bunker event and then hunt Hornets all around the map.
The fastest way to deal with hornets is by using seeker grenades and hullcrackers if you have the resources or money. You can kill more than 10-15 hornets in a single run with these two things. Make sure to extract in time, or your progress will not count.
Damage Leapers, Bastions and Bombardiers
This challenge is quite easy if you know what you're doing. If you're at a higher rank right now, then the best way to rack up points in this challenge is by eliminating Bastions, Bombardiers, and Leapers in a single run. On the contrary, if you simply want to get 3 stars in this challenge, taking out a single Bombardier or Bastion will suffice, as you'll only need 4,000 points to do so.
Damage ARC enemies using Light Impact Grenades
This might be a tricky trial for many players if you don't know what you are doing. From my experience, the best method for this challenge is to target large ARCs like the Bastion and Bombardier. Throw the light impact grenades on their body and try to not take any damage, you will easily complete this trial in no time.
Open containers inside the traffic tunnels (The Blue Gate)
The underground portion of the Blue Gate map is the Traffic Tunnels. In this week's trials you need to search containers in the Traffic Tunnels of the map. The containers in Traffic Tunnels are any lootable containers, which include car hoods, garbage bins, lockers, security breaches, square breachable boxes, cabinets, and shelves.
Search Kitchen Cabinets
The best method for completing this trial is to make runs through the residential areas in any map. The best map to complete this challenge is by playing on the Blue Gate and Dam Battlegrounds map. Here's the best map route for this trial:
Getting 3 stars with decent points in trials will guarantee you a spot in the top 20 of the leaderboard. Remaining in the top 20 will also allow you to jump 2 ranks once the trials are refreshed for next week.
