ARC Raiders Frozen Trail update is the most awaited update players have been waiting for the past few months. Since Embark's announcement of two major updates every six months, players have been stuck with the same content that was there since launch.
The Frozen Trail update comes out across all regions on October 8, 2026. This update features reworks to the trial system and skill tree. Moreover, it introduces new ARCs, weapons, items, gadgets, and a brand-new big map, Pendola Pass.
With creators getting early access for content creation, the areas of Pendola Pass have been revealed, and here's an in-depth look at all the POIs of the new map.
All Areas on the new Pendola Pass map in ARC Raiders
Pendola Pass is a large snow covered map located beyong the mountain range of topside. The size of the map is quite large compared to the previous map, Riven Tides. It has 9 areas for players to explore and find different items. Here are the new areas and the category they fall into:
- Fallen Emperor (ARC)
- Old Town (Old World, Residential)
- Loading Platforms (Exodus, Industrial)
- Railyard (Industrial, Mechanical)
- Commissary Supermarket (Commerical, Medical)
- Almatera Station (Commercial)
- Railroad Junction (Electrical, Mechanical)
- Cielo Sereno Observatory (Exodus, Technological)
- Deep Space Telescope (Exodus)
The Pendola Pass map is packed with high-value areas. Out of all the maps in the game, Pendola Pass has the highest number of areas with the Exodus marking, which suggests that the loot value of these areas will be higher than usual. Moreover, these areas will be hotspots for high-value items required for crafting and projects.
However, word of caution for new and returning Raiders, the Pendola Pass will be filled with the new ARCs Bully and Skulkers. Be adequately prepared to take on these ARCs and stay safe on the topside!
