Starcraft 2 gets two tactical turn-based mods

Starcraft 2, Blizzard's eight year old title is getting a makeover with two new paid mods that turn the game into a tactical turn-based RPG in the vein of X-COM or Jagged Alliance. As is already customary, nothing is free in Blizzardland.

Blizzard's Starcraft is celebrating its 20th anniversary and the company is celebrating in style, announcing a slew of goodies across their line up, which includes the likes of Diablo, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, etc.

Overwatch's new escort map

Blizzard just revealed a new escort map for Overwatch. The map is set in Australian Outback. A new animated short is to be revealed during the Blizzard Reveal Ceremony on Wednesday, 23 August.

Blizzard's gamescom 2017 lineup

Blizzard will bring all kinds of cool content to gamescom 2017. Overwatch is getting a brand new map, Heathstone will get a new Hero and WoW will see its European Championship come to a close. More information will be revealed on Monday, 21 August.

StarCraft II lead gameplay designer is moving to a new project

StarCraft II lead gameplay designer David Kim is moving to a new project within Blizzard after several long and fruitfull years. No word yet as to what that project might be.
