Conan Exiles review - fun deforestation times

The survival genre may be in its twilight years but a light can be seen at the end of the tunnel. Conan Exiles definitely aims to illuminate, but Funcom have a very long road ahead of them. Might also just be a truck, you never know.

Conan Exiles is out now with a new trailer

Funcom's open world survival game Conan Exiles has launched after spending over 14 months in Steam Early Access. The game launched alongside a new trailer showing the features and a substantial 8,9GB launch update that was promised earlier.

Conan Exiles promo videos visit real world

Funcom have decided to conduct a "thought experiment" and depict how Conan would build, survive and dominate in our own world. Each of the three videos ends with asking the potential players how they would do the same in his world.

Conan Exiles leaves Early Access within weeks

Funcom plans to release Conan Exiles out of the Early Access period in less than a month. The game's release will entail added zones, monster invasions and a revamped combat system. Hopefully it won't be a Failcom title, but a Funcom title.

Conan Exiles launching on Xbox One - US release has no genitals

Conan Exiles is arriving on Xbox Game Preview today. The Frozen North expansion will be included in the Xbox One launch and will be added to the PC version of the game at the same time. The US version will not feature the game's trademark intimate parts.

Conan Exiles' Frozen North expansion coming in August

Conan Exiles is about to go through some extreme climate change. The Frozen North expansion will be added to the base game for free on 16 August 2017, for both PC and Xbox One. The expansion will add a lot of cool new content.

Conan Exiles still isn't our of Early Access but Funcom finds it necessary to tease a free and frosty upcoming expansion. The Norwegian studio has shared some screenshots and a short promo video of the upcoming additional content.

Conan Exiles is still in Early Access and this is the game's 24th update. The update brought a new dungeon and a new boss, as well as some fresh items and foes.
