Xbox Games With Gold February 2019 roster

Microsoft announced Xbox Games With Gold lineup for February 2019, which features disappointments, such as Assassin's Creed Rogue being for Xbox 360, but everyone liked the addition of Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for Xbox.

Ubisoft reveal For the Creed crossover event

Assassins will be joining Vikings, Samurais, Knights and other For Honor heroes in a new time-limited For Honor Assassin's Creed crossover event dubbed For the Creed. The event is live right now and it will run until 10 January 2019.

Assassin's Creed: Rebellion coming to mobile

Ubisoft may have been extremely clear about no new Assassin's Creed for a while after Odyssey has launched, but we guess they didn't consider mobile as part of that deal because Assassin's Creed: Rebellion is coming soon to iOS and Android.

AC: Odyssey hinting at Splinter Cell's return

Even though its official launch isn't until tomorrow, 05 October 2018, an Easter egg from Assassin's Creed: Odyssey that's been making the rounds suggests that Ubisoft are either reminiscing or foreshadowing the return of Splinter Cell.

Xbox GWG giving out three games in June

Microsoft are doing something different this time around, so instead of giving out four free games as part of the Games With Gold service, they'll be giving out $100 worth of Smite currency and three games, two of which are Xbox 360 titles.

Saudi Arabia banning 47 video games

The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia has announced that a 47 video games will be banned in the country for allegations that two children killed themselves over a mysterious game called the Blue Whale. Apparently, it's the last game you'll ever play.

Ubisoft confirmed Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft have confirmed Assassin's Creed Odyssey is coming to E3 2018, potentially filling the mysterious "fourth 2018 AAA game" slot. This may or may not be a reason for Splinter Cell fans to drop into a chasm filled with broken dreams.

Of course, Xbox Live Gold membership means these games aren't really hundred per cent free, but they're free enough to satisfy our love towards cheapskating as a sport. This time around, uncle Microsoft has got four titles for its players.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag goes free

Second half of 2017 has brought so many freebies it’s getting a bit difficult to keep track and now Ubisoft decided to follow suit and is giving away free copies of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. The company has also published a documentary called ‘Into the Creed’, showing how the game managed to change a few lives along the way and you can view it above.

Ubisoft is giving away two games on Uplay this month, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and World in Conflict: Complete Edition, due to 10th anniversaries of World in Conflict and first Assassin's Creed game.
