NetEase's Marvel Rivals has captured the hearts of millions of hero shooter fans since its release last year. The game launched with fresh content and dynamic gameplay combined with a roster of fan-favourite Marvel characters.
Since its release, NetEase has been adding new characters to the game with every season. With the season 3 update, we got the first X-Men duelist Phoenix. Now with the mid-season update, we will be getting our next duelist Blade.
When is Blade Coming Out in Marvel Rivals?
According to the Marvel Rivals Season 3 roadmap, Season 3.5, or the mid-season update, will go live on August 8. A new mid-season update always features a new character for the game, so players can expect to see Blade join the game on August 8.
Blade is one of the most-awaited characters for all Marvel Rivals players. He was being teased in the game since Season 2's beginning. From all the game file leaks and intel, it has been confirmed that Blade will be a duelist in Marvel Rivals.
Here's a look at Blade's moveset:
- Primary Fire-1: Blade Chopper
- Use Dracula's Sword to slash in front of you, inflicting damage to the enemy you hit.
- Primary Fire-2: Hunting Gun
- Use a hunting shotgun to fire a long-range explosive fragmentation round that delivers a large amount of shrapnel at the point of detonation.
- Shift Ability: Step and Chop
- Sprint forward; if wielding a gun, shoot an enemy and apply to reduce healing; if wielding a sword, slash an enemy and apply to reduce movement speed.
- E Ability: Blood Liberation
- Activate vampiric bloodline; all blood becomes Dracula's blood, gain stronger senses; can't be healed at this time but can restore Dracula's blood by inflicting damage.
- Right Click Ability:Damage Block
- Use Dracula's Sword to set up a sword stance that reduces damage from in front of you.
More details regarding Blade will go live weeks before the release of Marvel Rivals Season 3.5, which is expected to be released on August 8, 2025.
