Marvel Rivals Season 1 features different game modes and maps. Here's a look at all game modes and maps in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals is a new 6v6 third-person hero shooter from NetEase Games in collaboration with Disney's Marvel Games. It is a free-to-play title available across all current generation platforms. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the game launched with eight original maps based on iconic landmarks seen in Marvel movies and comics.

Marvel Rivals features a handful of game modes that are played across Quick Match, Competitive, and Arcade modes. These game modes are based on their own maps, with each of them being themed after famous Marvel landmarks such as New York and Asgard. Here's an overview of all game modes and maps in Marvel Rivals.

There are three main game modes for Quick Match and Competitive modes. These game modes are played on core maps and are shuffled around for competitive play. Here's an overview of all main game modes:

  • Convergence: In Convergence, the attacking team must first capture an objective point to start the movement of the main objective cart or vehicle. On the other hand, the defenders must stop them from taking the objective point or stop them from advancing with the cart once it is captured. Once the site is captured, the attacking team must move with the cart through three checkpoints to win the game mode.
  • Convoy: In Convoy, the attacking team must push the objective cart to the finishing line through the map, and the defending team has to stop them before the timer expires to win the match. If the attacking team makes their way to the finishing point before the time runs out, they win the game mode.
  • Domination: In Domination, both teams must fight to capture a point and hold it until it reaches the 100% capture limit. This game mode usually takes place on small maps and in three rounds. The first team to capture two small maps will win the game mode.

Aside from the main three game modes, the game also features two arcade game modes. Here's an overview of the two Arcade game modes:

  • Chronovium: In Chronovium, players are divided into two teams in team deathmatch fashion. After eliminating a player, you must collect Chronoviums, and the team to collect the most amount of Chronoviums wins the game mode.
  • Doom Match: In Doom Match, 12 players are deployed to a free-for-all death match where players can get points by eliminating other players. The top 50% at the end of the match will win the game mode.
