According to reliable industry insider Tom Henderson, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto VI will have a playable female and male protagonist for the first time in the series history.
Rockstar Games are yet to announce their next Grand Theft Auto game but according to several reliable sources, the game is indeed in development. However, the same sources say it won't be coming anytime soon, at least not before 2024 so it may take a while before Rockstar decide to announce it.
And while we wait for the official info from Rockstar, there's plenty of rumours floating around the internet that reveal some interesting details. The latest info comes from a reliable games industry leaker and insider Tom Henderson, who you may know as TheLongSensation on YouTube.
In one of his latest tweets, Tom reveals that for the first time ever in the Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar will allow players to play as a female character. The leaker states that GTA VI will have both male and female playable characters, which is something that was revealed in the first GTA VI rumour. However, it's safe to say that it's much more believable now that a solid source is revealing such info.
As always with leaks and rumours, we suggest you take the info with a dose of scepticism, despite Henderson's good track record. On top of this, the game is still in development and things could change along the way.
One of the first GTA VI rumours suggested that the game would feature both male and female playable characters with a massive open world, set in Vice City. On top of this, the rumour stated that Rockstar are working to deliver never-before-seen weather systems with hurricanes, tornadoes and more.
Again, before you get excited, these are just rumours at this point and we should wait for official info before boarding the hype train.
