Bethesda's Creation Club plants unpurchased mods on your hard drive

Making a paid mod system work for Skyrim and Fallout 4 wasn't going to be easy. Bethesda has apparently called for someone to hold their beer while they put some paid mod files on players hard drives, whether they purchased/unlocked them or not.

How long until Bethesda realises Creation Club is a bad idea?

Reactions to Bethesda's Creation Club are quite clear if YouTube comments and dislikes are anything to go by. Getting people to pay for mods was a bad idea when Valve tried it, and it still seems to be a bad idea. Was Bethesda not paying attention?

Fallout 4 VR is set to launch in October this year. The game will feature "the complete core game with all-new combat, crafting, and building systems fully reimagined for virtual reality". Fallout 4 VR is available for pre-purchase now on Steam.

Fallout 4 is free this weekend on Xbox and Steam

Fallout 4 will be free on Steam and Xbox over the coming weekend. The Xbox promotion is reserved for Live Gold members. Interested members and Steam users will have access to the base game as well as be given the opportunity to try out some mods.
