Mad Head Games

Mad Head Games are a video game developer founded in 2011 by Nenad Tomić, Uroš Banješević and Aleksa Todorović, with studios in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Sarajevo. The studio started out making hidden object adventures for PC and mobile, including the Rite of Passage series, before moving into larger projects.

In November 2020, Embracer Group acquired Mad Head Games through Saber Interactive. It was Embracer's first studio in Serbia, and the three founders stayed on to lead it. Saber valued the team's Unreal Engine expertise and their experience across genres on PC and console. The team has since grown to around 130 people, and they opened a studio in Sarajevo, which made them one of the largest game developers in the Western Balkans.

Their biggest project so far is Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, a single-player action survival horror game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. They developed it directly with Clive Barker, and Doug Bradley returns as Pinhead.

Hellraiser: Revival launches on 8 October 2026, and the studios rebrand on the same day. The Serbian offices will become Saber Serbia and the Sarajevo office will become Saber Bosnia and Herzegovina. The team is already working on an unannounced AAA project.
