Ruiner 2

Ruiner 2

Ruiner 2 is an action RPG in development at Warsaw-based studio Reikon Games, announced as a sequel to their 2017 cult-classic top-down shooter Ruiner. The game returns to Rengkok, the dystopian cyberpunk city of the original, and marks a significant evolution for the franchise — expanding from an intense twin-stick shooter into a deep ARPG built around experimentation, build variety, and real-time team switching. No release date has been confirmed, but the game is currently available to wishlist on Steam.

The headline mechanic is the Shell System, which replaces traditional class selection with a roster of unique characters unlocked by defeating bosses. Players can command up to three Shells simultaneously in single-player, switching between them in real time and chaining their abilities together through a Synergy system to create powerful combos. In co-op, up to three players each bring their own Shells into the fight, expanding the combination possibilities considerably. Ruiner 2 is currently confirmed for PC, with console versions yet to be announced.
