Black Mesa Xen open beta date confirmed

Half-Life remake Black Mesa from the developers Crowbar Collective will have public beta test starting on 01 August 2019. The beta will include the first two chapters of Xen campaign while other chapters will also arrive shortly after.

Crowbar Collective have shared more details on their unofficial Half-Life remake - Black Mesa. Over the past month, the devs completed the structure of the Gonarch chapter while big improvements have been made to the last boss Nihilanth.

Black Mesa's Xen delayed into December do-or-die style

Crowbar Collective will be pushing the release of the final piece to their Valve sanctioned Half-Life redo into December, and they promise that this is the final delay. Xen seems to be shaping up nicely in spite of, or maybe exactly because of these frequent delays.
