Blight: Survival

Blight: Survival is a PvE action-horror game developed by Haenir Studio and published by Behaviour Interactive, currently in development for PC with no release date confirmed. Set in the no man's land between two kingdoms locked in a ceaseless medieval war, the game places players in the role of the Writhens — fighters tasked with venturing into a blighted wasteland to destroy the source of a deadly affliction that turns the dead into monsters. It was first revealed in November 2022 via a pre-alpha gameplay trailer that went viral across TikTok and YouTube, drawing millions of views and widespread attention for its striking visual quality despite coming from an indie studio.

The game blends visceral melee combat influenced by the soulslike genre with mechanics drawn from roguelites and extraction games, creating a high-stakes co-op survival loop where every run carries real consequences. Up to four players can tackle missions together, fighting both human enemies and monstrous infected, with the choice of when to push on or pull back forming the core tension. Rather than launching in Early Access, Haenir Studio and Behaviour Interactive have committed to releasing the game as a complete experience. Blight: Survival is built on Unreal Engine 5 and has received an Epic MegaGrant from Epic Games.
