Rogue Trooper Redux will launch on 17 October on PlaySttaion 4, Xbox One, PC and Switch. A new trailer guides the viewer through the game's universe, campaign, modes, and the biochip abilities. Rogue Trooper Redux will be available for £19.99.
Earlier this year Rogue Trooper Redux got a graphics comparison trailer and an official launch date. The Switch version of the game was left without a release date. Today, all of this changed.
According to the press release, "Rogue Trooper Redux launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC globally and on Nintendo Switch in North America on 17 October. The Switch edition for Europe and other territories is also targeted for 17 October, and a final release date will be confirmed soon."
We even got a new trailer. The trailer, titled "101", guides us through the game's universe, campaign, modes, and the biochip abilities. Rogue Trooper Redux's BAFTA-nominated story stayed "faithful to the 2000 AD comic and universe of the same name" says the press release.
The singleplayer campaign will blend stealth, action as well as cover-based shooting, and the fallen GIs in your helmet, gun and backpack will offer additional support. Helm will spew out strategic advice left and right. Additionally, he will confuse the enemy with distractions and holodecoys.
Gunnar - the sentient rifle will be able to transform into all manner of great shoot shoot devices including and possibly not limited to: a sentry gun, sniper rifle, mortar and missile launcher.
Bagman is the name of your fellow GI whose consciousness has taken up permanent residence in your backpack. Could be worse. Bagman has the unique ability to upgrade weapons and fashion explosives out of salvage you collect along the way. Could be much worse.
Rogue Trooper Redux will be available for £19.99 on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch starting 17 October.
