Mega-corporations just can't get a break these days. Some villainous scum decided to leak a teaser trailer for the new Star Wars: Battlefront II. Now public interest for the game is bound to fade and EA will loose billions.
A Star Wars: Battlefront II trailer has been leaked to the internets showcasing the timeframe the game will be covering. Everything is there, from Darth Maul up to Emo Ren. There also appears to be a strong female protagonist imperial agent of some sort briefly flashing her paragon of diversity face at the camera and demanding the Emperor's death be avenged. The game is rumoured to include several singleplayer storylines, so more perspectives, other than the Imperial one, are sure to be included in the finished game.
In case the trailer embedded above is taken down by EA's lawyers frantically trying to make this PR stunt look legit, just google Battlefront 2 leak and you should be fine. It's a really convenient time for the leak too, considering that a major reveal for the publishers Star Wars games was announced for this weekend.
The time period between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens is still a blind spot large enough to squeeze a game into, and by the looks of it, the new Battlefront will be doing just that.
If the displayed footage is everything that was going to be shown on Saturday's scheduled Star Wars Celebration event in Florida, then someone better get to slapping together a new trailer, or Star Wars fans might skip the event altogether.
