If you're a Star Wars fan and missed the Jedi Fallen Order announcement, it wouldn't come as much of a surprise since EA put it in the back seat during E3 2018, but more news about the game surfaced during a Disney Star Wars event.
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order has been both blessed with good things and shrouded in the fallout of Battlefront 2 disaster all this time since its announcement. EA awkwardly announced the game during E3 2018 and pretty much buried it into unknown, but bright sides include having Vince Zampella and by extend, Respawn, as the developers.
These are the people responsible for Titanfall series, that has been unfortunately thrown to the wolves, despite being probably some of the best shooter games in the last decade. The developers kept a tight lid on Jedi Fallen Order's details for the most part, but Disney spilled the beans.
According to an attendee of that Disney-held event, Respawn and Disney are aiming for a November 2019 release window and the story will be set five years after the events of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. Players will control a protagonist named Cal who used to be a padawan and is one of the few survivors of the attack on the Jedi Order.
It is unknown just how many familiar characters Cal will meet through his journey, but Xyzsvtabc, the person who leaked the information on Reddit, claims that players will run into characters that were introduced in comics such as second and ninth sisters, as well as The Order of the Inquisitors.
Considering Cal is a survivor of the Order 66, it is quite fitting he will run into the Inquisitors as they were the Empire's force-sensitive agents who were tasked with hunting down Jedi who survived it.
Cal will also have a mentor who will be a woman named Ceres, but Xyzsvtabc didn't disclose whether this means she is a Jedi master that taught Cal or simply a person he looks up to.
Keep in mind that this is simply a rumour at the moment and all things are subject to change in the following months.
