Rumours have it that Red Dead Redemption 2 previews are coming soon, with bits of info and teasers coming from various press, game shops, forums and Rockstar employees themselves. Signs of new merchandise are also all over the place.
Rockstar Games are seemingly ramping up the Red Dead Redemption 2 promotional blitz train's engines as it was confirmed they already showed demo footage for the game to select press which means a wider audience showing is soon to follow.
The gameplay footage might not be coming in mere weeks though, as Rockstar pulled a similar promotion move back in March 2018 and the third trailer for the game came almost two months later. Considering that the game will be released in about three months from time of writing, it is reasonable to expect more footage and other promotional material within the same time frame.
More teasers came in the form of promotional stands for game shops, such as the Dutch one called Haniel. They have posted their new Red Dead Redemption 2 promotional stand with a TV on top of it, which will apparently keep playing the game's trailers, but it was not explicitly stated if they will keep showing the new footage that is rumoured to spawn soon.
One Rockstar employee posted an image of herself on Instagram wearing a Red Dead Redemption 2 t-shirt, confirming that promotional merchandise has already been produced which pretty much means the game is complete as well. There is currently no official it has gone gold though, but it is still another pointer that we can expect a flood of news, trailers and likely footage in near future.
One journalist has let it slip that there was indeed a behind closed doors viewing but he has deleted the post since. This is the internet though and once you post it, it never goes away, so here is a copy of the picture where they let the cat out of the bag.
