Blood Orchid will mark the end of Operation Health. Update 3.0 delivers more related patches. New servers are being implemented. The update will launch on the Technical Test Server 29 August, but it is available for pre-load right now.

Operation Blood Orchid will launch soon. Now, after the Rainbow Six Siege free weekend came to a close, we got the patch notes for the latest update coming to the game along with the theme park map and three new operators.

Blood Orchid will mark the end of Operation Health, the series of updates released to improve the issues in the game. "In the future, we are still keeping the core pillars to focus on game optimisation, top community issues reported by the community, and improving player experience. The groundwork in Operation Health will help us to continue to improve the game for the distant future."

Update 3.0 delivers more Operation Health related patches. Operation Health's latest addition to the game are the new servers that are being implemented, and Ubisoft is hoping that they will "bring significant improvements to stability, connectivity, FPS, rubberbanding, and overall performance." Additionally, a new physics system will further mitigate rubberbanding, as well as teleporting.

Lighting has been improved so that it's easier to look from outside to inside or vice versa. Up until now, an exposure effect made it difficult to see much of anything. Skies have also been updated on all maps. Other visual changes include improved reflections, some Operator models, facial expressions, and textures. Improvements of the textures have been made on Kafe Dostoyevsky, but other maps will get the same make-over in the future.

The update will launch on the PC version's Technical Test Server on 29 August, and it can be pre-loaded now. The map will be free for everyone immediately, and the operators will become available for purchase after Year 2 season pass owners have had a week to try them out. Operation Blood Orchid will launch on 05 September 2017.
