Heroes 2.0 update is live on Heroes of the Storm. Also live are the latest quest chain and the loot chest rewards for veteran players.

Heroes of the Storm 2.0 in now live and the Nexus Challenge is in effect, but more on that later. First, lets talk about the update itself: the 2.0 brought changes to the progression and the rewards system, some new cosmetic items, new heroes, hero customization options and more. I go in somewhat more detail over here.

On to the fun parts: The Mega Bundles will grant you 20 new Heroes for zero moneys. The free bundles are available right now, and they will stay that way until 22 May. In this time-frame, you'll be able to unlock one Mega Bundle out of four total. Each bundle contains 20 Heroes and has a different theme. The themes are "Assassin, Flex, Support & Specialist, and Tanks & Bruisers". If unsure which one you are, there's a sorting quiz to be taken right here

Nexus Challenge 2.0 is the latest quest chain available to the players. It will be available for the same time period as the Mega Bundles and each quest in the chain will reward the players with "in-game rewards in both Heroes of the Storm and Overwatch to players who complete Heroes of the Storm games while partied with a friend". The first Quest has already started, and the next one is scheduled for 02 May.

Veteran Loot Chest Rewards are the rewards that will be given out to the players who "completed at least one Heroes of the Storm match prior to the release of Heroes 2.0". The number of these loot chests each player will receive will depend on the new player level in the new progression system.

Details on the quest chain and the loot boxes, as well as the general updates and the new hero are available here.
