The Talos Principle is available for iPhone and iPad via the App Store. The partnership between Laced Records and Croteam resulted in Damjan Mravunac's soundtrack being released on vinyl. The Talos Principle for iOS boasts the innovative tap-and-swipe control system.
Croteam's philosophical puzzler The Talos Principle has landed on iOS. The game is available for both iPhone and iPad via the App Store for around £4. The team celebrated the launch by releasing a limited edition two-disc vinyl soundtrack set by the composer extraordinaire Damjan Mravunac, available via the Laced Records website.
The deluxe double album is a tranquil collection of 28 tracks drifting between ambient, melodic and dramatic moments, spread across two heavyweight 180g LPs and collected in a deluxe gatefold sleeve featuring original artwork designed by Tom J Manning.
The Talos Principle for iOS boasts the innovative tap-and-swipe control system that "immediately feels natural" says the press release. Gamepad emulation and MFi gamepad are both supported and optional. The game offers over 20 hours of content that includes various puzzles and an engaging story.
"To round the experience out - the combination of Metal API and the cutting-edge Serious Engine ensures jaw-dropping graphics and amazing performance on iOS devices (iPhone 5S and up) without compromise" explains the press release.
The App Store describes The Talos Principle like this: "As if awakening from a deep sleep, the player finds himself in a strange world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Tasked by his creator with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, he must decide whether to have faith or to ask the difficult questions: Who am I? What is my purpose?". Intrigued?
