Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed two new Naruto games headed to PS4.
The latest issue of the Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine reveals two new Naruto games for PlayStation 4: Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is a compilation of three games - Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3. Developed by CyberConnect2, the trilogy will include all of the downloadable content for said games. First purchasers will obtain a product code to watch the Boruto anime at this year's Jump Special Anime Festa event, as well as a poster. The trilogy will be released on July 27 in Japan.
Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is described as an "acrobatic ninja battle" game, featuring four-man local multiplayer battles, and up to eight players online. The game's release date has not been announced yet, but it will all most likely be revealed on the game's official website - currently under construction. The developer for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker remains unknown at this point as well, but the game will probably be published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Both Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker have only been announced for the PlayStation 4 and for Japan at this time. However, the last Ultimate Ninja Storm game, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, was a PS4-only game in Japan as well, but it also released for Xbox One and PC worldwide - so it's safe to assume that these two titles will follow suit.
